The Chamber of Anadia approved, at its executive meeting, the contract for the requalification of Rua São José de Cluny, between the intersection of Malaposta (IC2) and the Chapel of S. Mamede. Improvement will also advance in the wide Madre Maria de Fátima, in Famalicão.

The work was budgeted at around 370 thousand euros and had an execution period of eight months.

The intervention aimed at improving pavements, the construction of sidewalks, the elimination of architectural barriers and the adoption of new parking solutions that offer residents and visitors good conditions of mobility and accessibility.

As part of this requalification, the water supply networks, respective branches, and rainwater networks were renewed.

Largo Madre Maria de Fátima received a new concept of parking to harmonize the public space and regulate the circulation of local traffic and its articulation with public use equipment. In this area, paper and banks were also installed.

The work is part of the second phase of the EM334 requalification, from IC2 to the EN235 variant.
