Contract for the rehabilitation of the Eixo-Aveiro connection (formerly EN230) representing a new investment in the qualification of the road network, promoting road safety and the well-being of all who live and circulate on this road.
The work started with the construction of the new storm water network on Rua Abílio Tavares da Silva, proceeding to José António de Carvalho and Adro de Cima streets.
The intervention took place in 2.1 km, between Rua das Arrotas and the Eixo level crossing and also included works to put bituminous, vertical and horizontal signage, and natural gas infrastructures in about 400 meters, in the streets bordering the ex -EN230, in the streets of Areosa, José Mascarenhas, Manuel Gaspar Fernandes, Prof. João Pinho Brandão, Dr. Alfredo Coelho Magalhães and S. Sebastião (until the Level Crossing).
The work was carried out by the company Manuel Francisco de Almeida S.A. at a cost of € 188,216.70 (+ VAT), with an execution period of 6 months.
