Sobre o Projeto

Construction of the cycle path between the University of Aveiro (UA) and the CP Station, with the implementation of horizontal signs for the road and cycle path. With an investment by the CMA of € 536,040.20 and integrated into PEDUCA, the contract implements the dedicated route between the CP Station and the AU, ensuring safety for pedestrians and cyclists, over a length of 2.4 km.

We highlight the construction of two cycle lanes in most of the interventions involved, the creation of trivialized roads that allow the sharing of the road between bicycles and cars with speed limitation at 30 km / h, and the creation of a lane motorcycles segregated from the motorway in some sections of the route, with emphasis on the track to be built in front of the CCA.

The contract redefined junctions and squares, such as the junction of Rua da Associação Humanitária dos Voluntários Firemen and Rua Mário Sacramento, or the remodeling of the square next to CP Station (on the west and south side), becoming a square of taxis.
